In 1998, a seasoned rock and roll drummer from the Midwest made a new home in New England, establishing Me & Ollies bakery in Portsmouth, NH. One day, while casually experimenting with granola bar recipes alongside his three sons, he found himself lost in nostalgic daydreams of peace signs and VW buses, typical of seasoned rock enthusiasts. His sons, Max, Eli, and Ollie, attempted to keep the granola bars intact but struggled to do so. Despite their efforts to strengthen the bars with extra seeds, a hint of vanilla, and more honey for cohesion, the mixture stubbornly refused to hold together, resulting in delightful crunchy, sweet, and salty clusters. Though initially seen as a setback, a single taste revealed a delightful discovery: these clusters surpassed any conventional granola bar. Thus, Granola Munch was born!
