Nestled in Cornwall, Vermont, Lemonfair Honeyworks draws its name from the Lemon Fair river, meandering through the serene valley behind our honey house. Our focus is on producing premium raw honey, comb honey, nucleus colonies, and queens sourced from bees that have been meticulously nurtured without the use of miticides, antibiotics, or other medications. The origin of the name Lemon Fair has sparked various theories, given the absence of lemon trees for miles around. However, the explanation we favor suggests an anglicized adaptation of the French ‘Le Mont Faire,’ an homage to the majestic mountains enveloping our surroundings. To the West, the Adirondacks soar above Lake Champlain, while the Green Mountains grace our Eastern horizon, painting a picturesque backdrop for our apiaries.
