In 1882, Winfield Crowley erected the Crowley Cheese Factory adjacent to the family farm, a revered institution now enshrined as a National Historic Place. Today, it proudly stands as the oldest continuously-operating cheese factory in the United States, a testament to the enduring legacy of craftsmanship and tradition.
